Baseball Game Preview: Indian Creek Timberwolves vs. Somonauk Bobcats

Indian Creek is 1-9 against Somonauk since May of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. Indian Creek will host Somonauk at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Indian Creek is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They came up short against Aurora Central Catholic, falling 8-1.

Indian Creek saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kian Pearson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. That hit marked the first that Pearson got this season.

Meanwhile, Somonauk lost 18-6 to St. Bede on Saturday.

Somonauk's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Indian Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Indian Creek might still be hurting after the 20-5 defeat they got from Somonauk in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can Indian Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
