Football Recap: Osawatomie Trojans vs. Hiawatha Red Hawks
Osawatomie played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Hiawatha Red Hawks, falling 78-7. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 64-0.
Dodge Browning threw for 95 yards and one TD. Blaine Flanagan was his top target, picking up 57 receiving yards.
Ethan Morton had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 301 yards and seven scores while picking up 14.3 yards per carry for Hiawatha. Those seven rushing touchdowns gave Morton a new career-high. Grayson Gilbert was another major influence, as he rushed for 27 yards and ran in a TD.
Osawatomie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Hiawatha, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.
As of now, neither Osawatomie nor the Red Hawks have any future games scheduled.
