Nick Martinez posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He was dominant the last time he took on Kingman Academy back in April of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Martinez has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
