Akron came out on top against Sedgwick County on Tuesday thanks in part to Alex Bowin's efforts. Sedgwick County had no answer to Bowin as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, Bowin posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.
