Football Game Preview: Rosamond Roadrunners vs. Desert Scorpions + How To Watch

The Rosamond Roadrunners will face off against the Desert Scorpions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rosamond has given up an average of 33.6 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Rosamond lost to Boron at home by a 34-20 margin. The Roadrunners haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Despite their loss, Rosamond saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Marvin Alvarado, who threw for 123 yards and a pair of touchdowns, was perhaps the best of all. Robert Evans handled things on the ground, rushing for 118 yards.

Meanwhile, Desert played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 56-6 defeat at the hands of Bishop Union. The Scorpions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-0.

Desert's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Rosamond, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
