The Kelly Walsh Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their seventh straight loss. They fell 52-43 to Sheridan. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kelly Walsh in their matchups with Sheridan: they've now lost six in a row.

Kelly Walsh's loss came despite strong showings from Kennedy Davila and Lillian Hudson. Davila scored 21 points along with six steals and two blocks, while Hudson scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davila has scored all season.

Kelly Walsh's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Sheridan, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Kelly Walsh will look to defend their home court on Friday against Cody at 4:30 p.m. One thing working in Cody's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. Sheridan will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Campbell County at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Campbell County is ranked eighth, while Sheridan is ranked seventh).
