Football Recap: Northview Skates Past West Covina with Ease + How To Watch

Northview got themselves on the board against West Covina on Thursday, but West Covina never followed suit. They blew past the Bulldogs 35-0. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won five contests by 25 points or more so far this season.

Northview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aaron Guillen, who rushed for 136 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 13 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaishon Bledsoe, who gained 129 total yards and two touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Northview was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 267 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Northview pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.8 points on average over those games. As for West Covina, they moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
