Arlington is returning home triumphant after the team finally put their road woes behind them against North Bend Central on Friday. The Eagles enjoyed a cozy 30-14 victory over the Tigers. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Arlington had a senior duo take command as Ben Flesner rushed for 119 yards and a pair of scores and Oliver Ladehoff rushed for 159 yards while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. Ladehoff is becoming a predictor of the Eagles' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Arlington proved: they limited North Bend Central to a paltry 3.3 yards per carry. The team can thank Parker Robinson for the heroic effort on defense: he. Arlington didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.5.
Arlington's defense didn't let Drew Sterup, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for five sacks. Leading the way was Tanner Kyllo with two.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Yutan). They claimed a resounding 56-8 victory over Tekamah-Herman. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-0.
Yutan's win came from a few key players Arlington will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Otto Henkel, who rushed for 86 yards and two TDs on only seven carries. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Fenner, who rushed for 58 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries.

Arlington's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Yutan, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-2.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Arlington has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 315.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Yutan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 238.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
