Softball Recap: Milledgeville Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

Milledgeville made up a huge gap compared to their last game against River Ridge/Scales Mound, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Missiles blew past the Wildcats 16-1 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Missiles, who have now won seven matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Milledgeville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for River Ridge/Scales Mound, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.
