Washington Union wins going away against Templeton

Recap: Washington Union Panthers vs. Templeton Eagles

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Washington Union Panthers walked away with it. They took down Templeton 25-7 on Friday. The win was just what Washington Union needed coming off of a 28-6 defeat in their prior contest.

Washington Union's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jason Torres led the charge by throwing for 237 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes. Another player making a difference was Decurtis Stroud, who rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown.

Washington Union's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Templeton, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Washington Union will head out on the road to face off against Atascadero at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Atascadero will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. Templeton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
