The home team had come away the winner the last four times Deming and Socorro had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Deming was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-6, 25-15.

With the victory, Deming broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 2-7. As for Socorro, their loss was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deming will welcome Gadsden at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Socorro, they will face off against Bosque at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
