Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Athens walked away with it. They came out on top against the Greenview Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Athens took both sets by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-11.

Athens found their leader in sophomore Chloe Barrett, who had eight digs and three aces.

Athens was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Greenview only served two.

Athens' victory bumped their record up to 30-7. As for Greenview, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 19-15.

Athens wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Unity Christian on the 30th. Greenview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
