Basketball Recap: West Caldwell Comes Up Short

West Caldwell lost against Lincolnton back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The West Caldwell Warriors lost 53-31 to the Lincolnton Wolves. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Lincolnton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Curmiya Tillman led the charge by putting up 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyla Johnson, who posted 13 points.

West Caldwell's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Lincolnton, their record now sits at 12-9.

West Caldwell will be playing in front of their home fans against West Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. West Caldwell is facing West Lincoln at the right time seeing as West Lincoln is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Lincolnton, they will head out to face off against East Burke at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. East Burke will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Lincolnton surely won't give up without a fight.
