Soccer Recap: Genoa Area Comes Up Short

Genoa Area lost against Delta back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Comets came up short against the Panthers, falling 7-4. Genoa Area have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

They hit Delta with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Max Huss (2), Gavin Goodman, and Josh Caughorn.

Genoa Area's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Delta, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Genoa Area didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-3 loss against Oak Harbor on the 16th. As for Delta, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-4 defeat against Maumee on the 15th.
