Crestview gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They escaped with a win against the Bay Tornadoes by the margin of a single free throw, 61-60. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Among those leading the charge was Sean Johns, who posted 13 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Hayden Graham, who scored 12 points and seven boards.

When it comes to explaining why Bay lost, don't look at Tre'Vince Walker. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-13 to rack up 19 points. Kamari Saunders was another key player, putting up seven points.

Looking ahead, Crestview will take on Pensacola at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bay, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bishop Snyder at 3:00 p.m. on the 29th.
