Soccer Game Preview: St. Anthony vs. Martin Luther

The St. Anthony Roman Legion are taking a road trip to take on the Martin Luther Spartans at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

St. Anthony took a nine-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Racine Lutheran, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Roman Legion's defense stepped up to hand the Crusaders a 1-0 shutout on Monday.

Meanwhile, Martin Luther was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Shoreland Lutheran, falling 6-0.

St. Anthony's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Martin Luther, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1.
