After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seckinger, Peachtree Ridge was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Berkmar Patriots. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won nine in a row.

Peachtree Ridge easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-9.

Jayda Jean-Louis paced Peachtree Ridge's offense, picking up five kills. Jean-Louis got some help from Catalina Bianchi Ramos and her seven assists. Kya Morris controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Peachtree Ridge's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Berkmar, they dropped their record down to 8-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Peachtree Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Norcross on the 16th. As for Berkmar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against North Gwinnett on the 16th.
