Heritage Hills never let their opponents score on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Princeton Tigers. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Tyce Winchell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, earning one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

Winchell wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Marshall Snyder, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Heritage Hills' record now sits at 18-4. As for Princeton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Heritage Hills will challenge Corydon Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Princeton, they will square off against Loogootee at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
