Basketball Recap: Round Valley Beats Many Farms for Their Fifth Straight Win

Round Valley had won four straight games and Kelci Walker did her part to make it five on Tuesday. The Round Valley Elks came out on top against the Many Farms Lobos by a score of 53-45 thanks in part to Walker, who shot 6-for-8 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 34 points and 11 steals. That makes it nine consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Round Valley's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Poston, who posted 11 points along with seven blocks and six rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted three or more in the last 11 games she's played.

Round Valley is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for Many Farms, their loss dropped their record down to 16-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Round Valley will host St. Johns at 5:30 p.m. on February 4th. As for Many Farms, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hopi at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
