Volleyball Recap: Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Boles two weeks ago, Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy came back down to earth. Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy came up short against the Cumby Trojans on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy hasn't had much luck with Cumby recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-14, 25-20.

Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Cumby, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy will take on rival Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cumby is set to challenge their familiar foe Wolfe City at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
