Beachwood entered their tilt with Richmond Heights on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Beachwood took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 25-8.

Miriam Aschkenasy paced Beachwood's offense, picking up five kills. Aschkenasy got some help from Casie B and her 17 assists. Kaylin Hilliard controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Beachwood's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Richmond Heights, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Beachwood has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Independence on the 25th. As for Richmond Heights, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Fairview on the 25th.
