Football Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson extended their losing streak to eight on Friday, dropping them down to 1-9. They had to suffer through a 35-7 loss at the hands of the Horizon Scorpions. The Silver Foxes lost against the Scorpions in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 35-28 score last time.

Horizon's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-9. The high-scoring effort was just what they needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Horizon got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaiah Aguilera out in front who rushed for 78 yards and two scores. That's the most rushing touchdowns Aguilera has posted since back in September. Abraham Barraza was another key receiver, picking up 121 receiving yards and one touchdown.

As of now, neither Jefferson nor Horizon have any future games scheduled.
