Football Recap: Ashton-Franklin Center Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Alden-Hebron

Ashton-Franklin Center faced Alden-Hebron in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The game between the Raiders and the Green Giants didn't end well, with the Raiders falling 26-8. The Raiders lost against the Green Giants in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 40-0 score last time.

Chase Near threw for 202 yards and one touchdown. Zac Rockwood was his top target, picking up 76 receiving yards and one TD.

Ashton-Franklin Center dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Alden-Hebron, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

As of now, neither Ashton-Franklin Center nor the Green Giants have any future games scheduled.
