Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Matanzas). They never let the First Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Matanzas also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

The victory made it two in a row for Matanzas and bumps their season record up to 2-1-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for First Baptist Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
