Swain County's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Tri-County with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for Swain County in their matchups with Tri-County: they've now won eight in a row.

Swain County hit Tri-County with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sevyn Soars, Evan Hall, and Diego Izaguirre.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Highlands' good fortune finally ran out last Monday. They fell just short of Andrews by a score of 2-1.

Highlands' loss dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for Swain County, their victory bumped their record up to 4-11-2.
