The Swanton Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Eastwood Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Swanton had taken Patrick Henry down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end two weeks ago. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Patriots. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered against the Patriots since October 4, 2016.
The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Patrick Henry scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 25-20.

Swanton's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ellie Saunders, who had 13 assists and eight digs, and Kinley Curtis, who had 15 kills, 15 digs, and one block. Curtis has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last 42 times she's played.
Meanwhile, Eastwood made easy work of Rossford on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.
The final score came out to 25-13, 25-18, 25-10.
Eastwood found their leader in sophomore Stella Cheblowski, who had 12 digs and one assist.
Eastwood was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in nine consecutive contests.
Eastwood has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Swanton, their loss dropped their record down to 16-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's matchup: Swanton has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.5 aces per game. However, it's not like Eastwood struggles in that department as they've been averaging 10.2 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Swanton might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Eastwood when the teams last played back in October of 2023. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
