For the first time this season, Wolfe City will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Tuesday. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Devin Dial was a standout: he scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tyler Moses, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Cooper always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bland only posted an OBP of .000.
Cooper's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Wolfe City, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
