Basketball Recap: Riverdale Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Summit, Riverdale was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lawrence County Wildcats by a score of 56-48. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered an 80-30 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory got Riverdale back to even at 1-1. As for Lawrence County, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverdale will head out to square off against Wilson Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lawrence County, they will venture away from home to challenge Lincoln County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
