Football Recap: Lewiston-Altura Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Lewiston-Altura finally came back down to earth on Thursday. The matchup between the Cardinals and the Fillmore Central Falcons didn't end well, with the Cardinals falling 26-7. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Lewiston-Altura's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-3. As for Fillmore Central, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewiston-Altura will take on Southland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fillmore Central, they will challenge St. Clair/Loyola at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
