Volleyball Game Preview: Kimberly Bulldogs vs. Filer Wildcats

Kimberly is on a 15-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Filer is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Tuesday, Kimberly made easy work of Buhl and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Kimberly walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-19.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Filer took on South Fremont on Wednesday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory.

While Filer won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-16, 25-20.

Kimberly's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Filer, their victory bumped their record up to 18-8.

Kimberly took their win against Filer in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
