Maywood/Hayes Center waltzed into their match on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Hitchcock County Falcons with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Maywood/Hayes Center never let Hitchcock County on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23, 25-17.

Maywood/Hayes Center's victory bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Hitchcock County, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-20.

Looking ahead, Maywood/Hayes Center will head out to square off against Dundy County-Stratton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hitchcock County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
