Softball Recap: Episcopal School of Jacksonville Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

While Episcopal School of Jacksonville's victory against Mandarin wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles skirted past the Mustangs 3-1. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Riley Valent spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Riley Applebee was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
