Basketball Recap: Jackson Memorial Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Jackson Memorial Jaguars lost to the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans on the road by a 63-46 margin. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 200th, while the Trojans are ranked 97th).

Jackson Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.

Jackson Memorial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-44 victory against Howell on the 21st. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 76-72 loss against Piscataway on the 21st.
