Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Brookfield walked away with it. They came out on top against the Ledyard Colonels by a score of 4-0 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Bobcats sure are getting used to it with their 17th in a row.
Sydney Miller made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 20 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
