Basketball Recap: Noblesville Snags Ninth Win in Last Ten Games

Guerin Catholic typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Noblesville proved too difficult a challenge. They took down the Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles 54-39. 54 seems to be a good number for the Millers as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Leading Noblesville to victory were Justin Curry II and Baron Walker. Curry II dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 boards, while Walker went 8 of 18 to rack up 21 points and three steals. Those 13 rebounds gave Curry II a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aiden Brewer, who posted eight points.

Noblesville was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Guerin Catholic only racked up eight assists.

Guerin Catholic lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Bryson Cardinal, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Grissom, who scored 11 points.

Noblesville is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Guerin Catholic, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 16-3.
