Basketball Recap: Motivation Drops Highest Score of Season Against Mastery Charter Hardy Williams

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Motivation). They blew past the Mastery Charter Hardy Williams Knights 68-43 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-26 back in December of 2024.

Motivation's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chace White, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 20 points and five rebounds. White's afternoon made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Ashon Williams was another key player, going 5 of 8 en route to 14 points in addition to six steals and three blocks.

Motivation has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Mastery Charter Hardy Williams, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.

Motivation has already played their next contest, a 53-46 win against Mariana Bracetti Academy on the 16th. As for Mastery Charter Hardy Williams, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-36 defeat against Parkway Northwest on the 16th.
