Football Recap: Pascagoula Finds Playoff Glory Versus Terry

It's playoff time, and Pascagoula had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 41-7 win over the Terry Bulldogs. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 20-0.

Amarie Jackson had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 120 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Pascagoula is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-5 otherwise.

The victory (which was Pascagoula's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-5. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.2 points. As for Terry, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.

Coming up, Pascagoula is taking a road trip to challenge Hattiesburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points in their last seven games. Terry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
