Baseball Recap: Maryvale Panthers vs. Camelback Spartans
Maryvale scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 15-3 margin over the Camelback Spartans. The victory was some much needed relief for Maryvale as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Luis Rodriguez was incredible, scoring four runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Axel Aguilar, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Maryvale's win bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Camelback, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maryvale is on the road again on Wednesday to play Metro Tech at 6:00 p.m. As for Camelback, they will face off against Arcadia at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
