Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Clyde

Clyde had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They strolled past the Bellevue Redmen with points to spare, taking the game 61-43. The win was all the more spectacular given the Fliers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 404th, while the Redmen are ranked 155th).

Clyde is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Bellevue, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.

When Clyde and Bellevue next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Clyde will try to stop Huron's five-game winning streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bellevue will challenge Crestview and their four-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
