Recap: HEART HomeSchool vs. Bridge to Independence Wildcats
HEART HomeSchool were the 57-53 winner over the Bridge to Independence Wildcats when they last played one another back in November, but their luck changed this time around. HEART HomeSchool took a 99-92 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bridge to Independence on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Friday (62), HEART HomeSchool still had to take the loss.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bridge to Independence to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brock D'Alessandro, who scored 26 points along with 9 assists and 7 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which D'Alessandro has scored at least 25% of Bridge to Independence's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydan Jeantinord, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 20 rebounds.
HEART HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Bridge to Independence, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
HEART HomeSchool will be playing in front of their home fans against Families Instructing Students HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Families Instructing Students HomeSchool will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 397th, while HEART HomeSchool is ranked 191st). As for Bridge to Independence, they will take on Atlantic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
