Volleyball Recap: Jal Victorious

Jal's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hagerman Bobcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on October 7th.

Jal had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-16, 29-27, 25-22.

Hagerman lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ariana Magallanes, who had 14 digs and nine kills. She is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Raeanne Talamantes, who had 11 digs and two aces.
