There's no place like home for Cle Elum-Roslyn, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Warden Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.

Cle Elum-Roslyn was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-19, 25-16.

Rachel Mendenhall paced Cle Elum-Roslyn's offense, picking up 13 kills. Mendenhall got some help from Audrey Teh and her 18 assists. Bella Ellis controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Cle Elum-Roslyn's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Warden, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
