South Wake skates past DASH with ease

The South Wake Sabres have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 28 points or more this season. They blew past DASH 76-33 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win South Wake has managed all season.

South Wake found their leader in underclassman Lawson Jurgens, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. Those 15 rebounds set a new season-high mark for Jurgens. Marcus Webb was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six steals.

The win was the fourth in a row for South Wake, bringing their record for this year to 6-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points per game. As for DASH, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

South Wake will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against New Life Camp at 8:00 p.m. on December 14th. New Life Camp has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 325 points over their last five matches. DASH will be home for the holidays to greet Southeastern HomeSchool at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
