Softball Recap: Argos Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Argos can now relate to. They lost 17-3 to the Triton Trojans on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-9 back in April.

Katherine Suarez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Grace Thomas, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Argos has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-20 record this season. As for Triton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-16.

As of now, neither Argos nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
