If Sage Creek wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Santa Fe Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Dax Hall. The Eagles came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 65-58 on Wednesday with plenty of help from Hall, who shot 87% from the field en route to 37 points in addition to eight boards and six assists. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in each of the last eight games he's played dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Sage Creek still got an impressive performance from Maxx Mitchell, who went 11-for-19 to rack up 28 points and five rebounds. Samuel Jahries was another key player, shooting 63% from the field on his way to 10 points.

The victory (which was Santa Fe Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 65.3 points this season. As for Sage Creek, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Looking ahead, Santa Fe Christian will face off against San Marcos at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Sage Creek, they will take on Steele Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
