Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grand Prairie). They claimed a resounding 54-21 win over the Spruce Timberwolves. The victory was some much needed relief for the Gophers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Grand Prairie's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Spruce, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Grand Prairie will take on Molina at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Gophers will be up against the Jaguars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.8 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Spruce, they will be playing at home against North Dallas at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
