Bedford entered their tilt with Grosse Ile on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Red Devils by a score of 2-0. The Kicking Mules have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Devils, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Bedford took both sets by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-1.

Lucy Monahan paced Bedford's offense, picking up six kills. Monahan got some help from Olivia Eby and her 16 assists. Hayden Fausze controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Bedford's victory bumped their record up to 27-13. As for Grosse Ile, they moved to 16-14 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
