The Gordon Lee Trojans will challenge the Oglethorpe County Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Gordon Lee sitting on seven straight wins and Oglethorpe County on 18.

Gordon Lee is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Model.

Gordon Lee had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 25-23, 25-13, 25-15.

Kynidie Gaffin was the offensive standout of the match as she had 15 digs and three aces.

Gaffin wasn't the only good servers: Gordon Lee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 23 consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Oglethorpe County got the win against Lake Oconee Academy on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Oglethorpe County might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Lake Oconee Academy scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-21.

Gordon Lee's record now sits at 38-10. As for Oglethorpe County, their record is now 30-8.
