Basketball Recap: Northern Valley Huskies vs. Western Plains Bobcats
Northern Valley was the 75-38 winner over Western Plains when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Northern Valley Huskies were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 47-46 to the Western Plains Bobcats.
Several Huskies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Haedyn Cox, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Cox has been hot recently, having posted ten or more boards the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Cox, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Even though they lost, Northern Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.
