Shoreland Lutheran won the last time they faced Beloit Memorial and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pacers came out on top against the Purple Knights by a score of 2-0.

Morgan Curcio paced Shoreland Lutheran's offense, picking up six kills. Curcio got some help from Hailey Grove and her ten assists. Grove was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Shoreland Lutheran has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-16 record this season. As for Beloit Memorial, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Shoreland Lutheran has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Rockford Christian on the 13th. As for Beloit Memorial, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Westosha Central at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th.
